LoGOz - Masons Arms Debut Gig Review 21/11/14

The rain was indeed lashing down in Northumberland on Friday night as we made our way to Blyth for our debut gig at the Masons Arms. Even a flat tyre on the LoGOz mobile wasn’t going to dampen our spirits tonight!!! So therefore soundcheck was a bit behind schedule, we nailed a great sound thanks to Mark and Co Pilot Glenn. There wasn’t much time to mingle as the place filled up and we hit the stage just after 9pm. We kicked off with ALIENATION and blasted through the 9 tracks from the original PSYCHO RADIO Album. Plenty of good banter between songs kept the momentum going and we finished off with MEXICOLA to close the first part of our set.
After a short break Paul and myself played an exclusive mini acoustic set taking requests from the crowd. We ended up playing DEAD OR LIVING IN AMERICA and NO WIN SITUATION especially for Clemmy, and Nicky. Then new-ish apocalyptic KARMAGEDDON as well as HELLO LONELY. Then as confidence was soaring I did a mini solo slot playing a song of mine from my old band The Blisters called 'RUBY MURRAY' a nice punk pop stomp about the joys of local drinking, fighting and regret of dodgy takeaways!!! I then finished off with a cover of The Street Dogs' PUNK ROCK 'N ROLL which set us up nicely for our final set!!!
We ripped straight into LONG TIME DEAD and tore through the rest of our back catalogue of newer tracks before finishing off with a cover of the Sex Pistols classic PRETTY VACANT which went down a storm.
Another cracking night for the band and a big thanks to everyone who braved the shite weather and came down to support us we love you all!!! Big up to  Clemmy, MizziiBee and Mark Evans again, under difficult circumstances done a great job with the sound.
