This Saturday December 5th sees LoGOz return to live action with a slot at the Riverside Rebellion punk festival held at the Westgarth Club in Middlesbrough. We will be sharing the stage with The Bermondsey Joyriders, Steve Drewett from Newtown Neurotics, and London to name but a few! This event kicks off at 12 midday and we're onstage around 4pm. Tickets are £15 a pop or its £20 on the door. So get your best festive punk rock trousers on lads and lasses and get in the Christmas spirit and come and support this cracking Live event!
This week sees my AcoustiCalendar project hit song #48 CHARLiE CIGARETTES. This a true sad story of a travelling old gentleman I bumped into about 10 years ago. It was by pure chance after a drunken night out in Ashington. I don't need to go into too much detail, it's all there in the words and melody of the song. But lyrically it's one of the most challenging tunes I've ever written, to get the sentiment across wasn't as easy as it sounds. So for that this is one my most rewarding tracks of the project.
