Hey well its been an interesting few days in camp LoGOz!!! On Friday due to unforeseen circumstances Paul unfortunately couldn't make our gig at The Clef & Cask in Cramlington. It was too late in the day to find a replacement guitarist and cancelling the gig just wasn't an option for us. So I decided we would carry on and do the gig just the 2 of us a la White Stripes, with my Jack White to Carl's Meg :) We didn't really have any time to work out a change in dynamics for certain songs so we just thought lets get up there crank my geetar up an extra fuzz notch and Carlos like Animal on prozac we blasted through a 10 song set like a pair possessed!! We went down a storm with the great crowd who had turned up to make a noise with us. Familiar faces cheered and sang along and new friends joined in and congratulated us on a fantastic gig in the face of adversity!! There was some great banter and a feel good vibe about the place, and in particular the local intoxicated heckler who was insisting on us playing ABBA or LED ZEPPELIN who was put in his place with a smile on his face :) Big thanks to ALL OUT ATTACK for a great set and to Daz for asking us to play, and not forgetting Nick Newcombe from Koast Radio for spinning some great tunes. Last but not least big up to Mickey O and Kev from COLLISION for doing a great job with the PA and Sound. As always Cheers and Beers to the LoGOz crew who continually come along and support us, it is hugely appreciated :)
So on to Tuesday October 7th and we're supporting American Pop Punkers The Dollyrots at The Three Tuns in Gateshead. Tickets are £6 and if anyone hasn't got a ticket then fear not, get in touch with the band via Facebook or on Twitter @PeeshNE63 @ClemmyScotswood @LoGOz and we will sort you out :) The band are in the middle of their UK Tour with British Punk legends The Buzzcocks, and are stopping off at Gateshead for a Headline show so we're pleased to be supporting the guys. We will also be back to full strength with Paul returning to the stage after his one gig absence. This is gonna be a cracking night. We cant wait!!!
