LoGOz - The Highs & Lows & the Return of Anarchy!!!

The highs and lows of this punk pop rock n rollercoaster we call LoGOz or LoGO2 continues in ever unpredictable fashion! Friday saw us play a sneaky blinder as we opened up a Charity Fund Raiser at The Elephant in Ashington. After a swift soundcheck which had us more than pleased with the amount of power Carlos and myself had with just Guitar and Drums, we were scheduled for an 8pm start. The venue was filling up champion with friends, family, new faces, familiar and peculiar, as well as the other bands. We blasted through a 10 song set of no nonsense edgy punk melodica! We were the sugarcoated iron fist, chewing bubblegum with razorblades if you like :) Our second unexpected 2 piece gig nailed in a week, so we were more than happy, as was the crowd with a great reaction, it couldn’t have went better.
Next up was Ball of Mayhem who delivered their anthemic hook laden metal as ever, and climaxing with Live favourite 'Obliteration'. Finishing the night was Guardian ahead of their European Tour who smashed through their extreme metal like young chaps possessed! Another great night had by all involved. Thanks to everyone who came down and contributed to a great night. Also big up to Lisa and Zac Yates from Guardian for asking us to play.

After the high of Friday night, our mouths were still dry and our heads still pounding when we were informed on Saturday afternoon that unfortunately we wouldn’t be playing The Northumberland Arms on the Saturday night. Just one of those things and a few hitches led to the event being cancelled.

But every cloud etc.. This then fortunately gave me time to work on a brand new ANARCHY IN THE U.S.A Show for Radio Northumberland. So I will be back on the airwaves coming in your ears on Tuesday October 14th at 9pm. You can listen Live on www.radionorthumberland.com  On this weeks show I'll be playing some classic Green Day, Foo Fighters, The Dollyrots, The Interrpruters and more, as well as brand new tracks from Slash, Richie Ramone and Rancid. Turn on, tune in and crank it up!!!
