LoGOz - Cross Arms Review & Weekend Punk Rockstravaganza!!!

Thursday nite saw us at The Cross Arms Hotel in South Shields for the first time and also clashing with the England v Uruguay World Cup match! Football or Music? There's only one winner for me :)
The support bands Madness is Mercy and Geomancer set their own tone to the proceedings! Im not quite sure what the genre was but damn it was heavy and right up Carlos' street! It was all original material and those guys meant it. Well played lads!
We took to the stage 10.10pm as Luis Suarez and co were celebrating a famous victory as English hearts were crying in their beer again! But us 3 Lions had a punk rock show to deliver, and deliver we did! A great sound too so a big thanks to Mark from Nemix.
The night ended up with a bit crack with ex 3 Colours Red guitarist Chris McCormack who had called in for last orders! Shame he hadn't been in an hour earlier, and l did tell him that he'd just missed a crackin band! Despite his offer of more beer we headed home just after midnight with a World Cup exit the last thing on our minds.
So onto the weekend! On saturday at 6pm we are playin The Insangel Stage at The Hoppings Town Moor in Newcastle. So come down, bring the kids, hook a duck, spend a fortune and ride a punk pop rock rollercoaster with us!
Then after that we're heading straight into town to the Northumberland Arms for a 9pm slot with Hexed, Pipe Riot and Black Bloc in aid of Save The Independent Living Fund (The Concert).
Our weekend doesnt end there boys and girls coz on sunday morning we're back at Mill Studios in Alnwick to record new tracks for our forthcoming EP.
Be great to see some of you at these gigs! As ever we will be selling copies of our Psycho Radio CDs and T-shirts as well as our new exclusive Live at Koast Radio acoustic EP. Bez like dancers and Honda Civic enthusiasts welcome!
