LoGOz - Newcastle University gig Review 31/05/14

Another great nite in LoGOz calendar for 2014 as our bandwagon rolled into Newcastle on a warm Saturday night. The Newcastle Uni Students Union had changed quite a bit since my last visit which l couldn't believe was a decade ago! I was about to grace the stage where 10 years earlier l had drunkenly moshed in awe to my heroes The Wildhearts! But in a mixture of shock and suprise the room was unrecogniseable from the dark edgey dank place of the past and was now a modern bright slick trendy spankin new Live venue! Change is good right?
The soundcheck went great and we couldnt wait to hit the big stage at 7.20pm. We went on bang on time and blasted through a 10 song set kicking off with LONG TIME DEAD and finishing with MEXICOLA. We went down great with the growing crowd of fans, friends and family, old and new. After the gig our merchandise was selling well so all in all a cracking night for LoGOz! Big thanks to Chris from headline band Digits / Pulse Promotions for making it happen. We must do this again. Onwards and upwards. Bigger and better. Things are changing. Change is good right?
