''Here comes the summer'' sang The Undertones, and they're damn right! As we enter June the weather is getting warmer, clothes are getting looser and LoGOz are getting busier! Oh yes!
We've got a busy month with 7 gigs and a recording studio session to boot. So l thought l'd tell you all about it yeah? Still interested?
Friday June 6th we're at The Doll @ The Black Bull in Gateshead. It kicks off 9pm with support band From The Gut. Its FREE Entry so get yourselves down and make a noise with the boys!
Then the following weekend on Saturday 14th we'll be performing at The Mighty Dub Fest at Druridge Bay 3pm and on Sunday 15th at Proper Food Festival in Whitley Bay, Spanish City at 4pm. Paul and myself will be playing exclusive acoustic sets at these events. Carlos unfortunately wont be joining us with his Bongos at these gigs as he will be having far too much fun at Download Festival :-)
Thursday June 19th at 9pm sees the full band back in electrifying action for the first time at The Cross Arms in South Shields thanks to NEMIX Promotions.
On Saturday June 21st we will be kicking off proceedings 6pm at The Hoppings Festival at Newcastle Town Moor on the Insangel Stage. So grab some candyfloss and a beer and jump on a punk rock rollercoaster!
The next day Sunday June 22nd we are back at Mill Studios in Alnwick to record 2 new tracks. As ever rock surgeon Dr Ally Lee will be at the helm. The plan is to record 2 new tracks to go alongside recent digital download single Hello Lonely and new recording Long Time Dead, to complete a new 4 track EP to be released on CD.
On Thursday June 26th we will be rocking out making our debut at The Roxbury in Blyth at 9pm. Support will be from Scenes.
Then to round off a schizofrantic month on Sunday June 29th we will be playing our home town on Ashington Fayre Day on the main stage at 2pm.
We hope some of you will be joining LoGOz in making this a cracking month and smashing up the summer!!!
